Why attend
Allow your son a day to explore what he can do, connect with mentors and other young people and practise skills that matter in everyday life. Growing up brings new friendships, expectations, emotions and choices. This programme creates opportunities to talk about those experiences, try new activities and learn through participation. Whether he enjoys speaking up or prefers to observe before joining in, your son will be encouraged to contribute, to recognise his strengths and to identify a positive step he can take beyond the programme.
This great experience is designed for you
About this programme
The Boys’ Mentorship & Growth Day brings boys aged 12–15 together for a purposeful day of active learning and personal discovery.
Through sports, board games, creative tasks and guided conversations, participants will practise listening, expressing ideas, solving problems and working with others. The emphasis is on taking part, making an effort and learning from experience. Age-appropriate discussions will connect respect, responsibility and self-control with situations boys encounter at home, at school and among friends. Participants will explore peer pressure, bullying, personal boundaries, online behaviour and how to seek help from trusted adults.
The day balances movement and teamwork with quieter activities and reflection. Boys will be encouraged to participate at a comfortable pace, with opportunities to contribute in pairs, small groups and the wider group. Before leaving, each participant will identify a personal strength, a positive habit to practise and a simple action to take at home or school.
